The latest match in the series took place at Pencoyd Pool on Saturday with only five anglers booking in to fish. A breezy and cloudy day greeted the competitors with temperatures in the low 20s with some sunny spells.

Match organise Pete Pembridge took the top spot from a peg just below the sunken island weighing in a net of carp, bream, F1s and roach to record a weight of 41lb 12oz. Runner up was Ray Downey with a weight of 25lb 12oz from apeg near the top end of the pool. Third was Mick Baker who caught 21lb 2 oz. Well done to all who took part.
