We are pleased to announce that our waters on the River Wye together with Brookmeadow (Pencoyd) and Belmont Pools are set to re open on Tuesday 1st September. Water temperatures have dropped to an acceptable level although water levels remain extremely low but with rain on the horizon levels should improve. To avoid unnecessary stress to fish we are asking anglers to refrain from using keepnets for the time being until water levels have had a chance to increase. Hopefully we will get some decent amounts of rain in the next couple of weeks going into the Autumn and  with very little feed going into the river in recent months the fish will hopefully respond as they try to put on weight to see them through the upcoming Winter period.
