Eight anglers turned up for this match which followed heavy overnight rain  with the forecast  set to brighten up with some sun and a top temperature of 14C. With the previous match having been a bit of a struggle expectations were not high. The match was won by Dave Tyler with 49lb of carp and roach from a peg midway down the right hand bank. This was more than double the weight of runner up Ray Downey who was pegged 2 swims away and weighed in 22lb 3oz of carp and roach.Third was Mike MClaughlin with 10lb 9oz from a peg close to the far end of the pool. The match again fished hard but hopefully the next match on Saturday 3rd May.will turn out better.

Saturday 3rd May.

Eight anglers turned up for this match on a dry cloudy day with sunny intervals. Match winner was Mike Mclaughlin  who finished the match with 24lb 8ozof carp and roach from the dam end of the pool. Pete Pembridge finished in 2nd place with 22lb consisting of 4 carp from a peg towards the top end of the pool, with John Webb finishing 3rd with a weight of  14lb conssting of 3 carp and some roach. Well done to all who took part.
