It has been brought to the Committee’s attention by the bailiffs that some anglers are exploiting the Coarse Fish Closed Season rules in regards to Salmon & Trout fishing.

Salmon anglers must be using equipment capable of landing big strong fish. They must also carry a suitable Salmon landing net. Salmon spinners or proper Salmon flies only to be used. Trout fishing is only allowed using a proper fly rod and fly line. Artificial flies must be attached. No lures or fly spoons allowed. A suitable landing net must be carried at all times. Dropshotting or using a drop shot rod is not allowed during the Coarse Fish  Close season. Anyone caught exploiting the rules will be dealt with by the Committee and most likely banned.
