Eight anglers took part in the latest match at Pencoyd Pool. The match was fished in overcast, cloudy conditions with occasional light showers, until it was time for the weigh in, when the heavens opened with a heavy thunderstorm.

Pegged towards the top of the pool winner Chris Mayne took a great weight of 70lb-10oz to the scales consisting of mainly carp and a couple of good sized bream. This was well ahead of 2nd placed Mick Baker who weighed in a carp and silverfish catch from the adjacent peg to finish with 36lb-8oz. Third was Dave Tyler with 34lb 6oz caught from a peg just above the middle of the pool with Pete Pembridge finishing 4th with a catch of 30lb-10oz. Well done to all those taking part.
