As part of the 3 Day Festival the event has incorporated the Ray South Memorial Teams of Three. Ray was a regular and popular competitor in the festival over the years and sadly passed away in 2020. In Memory of Ray, the South family have donated £500 towards the event that brings anglers together. Each team of three is the result of a random draw with the winning team decided by the aggregate weight of the anglers over the 3 days. It is always worth sticking at it as those few ounces may make all the difference to the team.

Congratulations to the winning team of Martin Challenger, Hadrian Whittle and Nigel Garrett who weighed in a combined total of 311lb 4oz  to finish almost 3lb ahead of the second placed team of Rob Brennan, Joe Holloway and Nigel Marchington.
